I hear some of you might be having your very own awesome missionary experiences! How's it going?! Go help out them Utah missionaries. We all need it.
Man, some crazy things happened this week. We started off with a zone conference, that was soo awesome because our mission president is a genius! So we were already running on a little bit of a high to start out with. and I also had a chance to go on an exchange with the zone leaders. Which started out crazy all the way from when we woke up! Elder Pymm and I went for a run, and we saw this guy setting a big thing out on his lawn, so we thought he was setting up for a garage sale. So on the way back we asked " hey do you have any ties?" he said yeah I do. When he pulls out 4HUGE TUBS (like the ones that hold our snow clothes in storage) packed full of ties!! We were like uh were gonna have to come back, he said ok 1$ each. So we go home, do studies, then at lunch we went and got 10$ cash and went over there. His wife was so nice, she hooked us up with chairs and things to help sort. We went through Every Single Tie. Pulled out a bunch of them that we liked. She came back and sold them to us for 10$. I picked up 31 ties for ten bucks. Elder Pymm got 46 ties for the same price. We told her that we were going to send the other missionaries over too (my companion and Elder Gosser, who also have to visa missionaries with them) and when they went over they were looking through, and Elder Hasler, one of the visa waiters, walked up and asked how much for all the ties? He then paid 100 dollars for all of those ties!!!! At least 1200 of them. Ridiculous and since my companion was with him he ended up with like 40. So we all got some. There are some really nice ones, good quality, various countries, so many ties.
Also really cool this last saturday Isamar came to a convert baptism in the english ward! That was so exciting, and she really liked it. We had a lesson with her afterward as well. AND THEN she came with us the next day to the confirmation! but at the same time we had our PEC meeting. So I went to that with Elder Pranger while Elder Coles and Shaver went to the confirmation with Isamar. Right after the confirmation they stepped outside and had sort of a lesson, and they were just talking about the confirmation, and the spirit hit them super hard and Elder Shaver followed it and said when do you want to get baptized? She started crying, said she wants to figure it out. Then Elder Shaver gave her a sweet blessing and all of this went down without me while I was in the meeting for PEC; but I don't care! because she is starting to blow past her obstacles here! So great. She just needs to get moved out or a boyfriend kicked out, but he pays a lot of the rent for her family. Super complicated, even more than that, but she totaly has the faith to knock it out.
Those were my highlights.
Sorry my time's up, but have a great week!
